Student Install Option
This is an ideal solution for distributing NI LabVIEW and other NI software to a large student body (for example, freshman engineering students).
The student install option for the NI Academic Site License is designed to:
- Give students access, at an affordable price, to the same powerful software at home that they use at school.
- Permit students to install any software from the academic site license on their personal computers. This does not include the NI Circuit Design Suite software (including NI Multisim and NI Ultiboard). It is offered separately.
- Manage licensing and distribution using the Volume License Manager (VLM).
Requirements for purchasing the student install option include:
- An active academic site license with up-to-date maintenance.
- 50-seat minimum purchase at a time ($40 USD/seat).
- Purchase by the university/school.
- Purchase of new seats must be made for additional students (seats are not transferrable among students).
For smaller groups, individual seats of LabVIEW Student Edition are available for student purchase.
