The newest edition of the electronics design platform from the NI Electronics Workbench Group marks a significant advance in tightly integrated design and test. The platform comprises Multisim, Ultiboard, and NI measurement technology, such as NI LabVIEW and LabVIEW SignalExpress software, and introduces new professional design features including:

  • Enhanced SPICE parser for expanded device model support
  • Increased component database quality and breadth
  • Expanded advanced analysis support, such as LabVIEW instruments and the ActiveX automation API
  • Strengthened design community with industry partnerships

Advanced Simulation Tools

Multisim introduces new interactive SPICE simulation features. With these new tools, you can create more sophisticated designs and achieve more realistic simulations for a variety of applications. New features include:

  • Redesigned SPICE parser
  • Expanded simulation syntax support
  • Enhanced simulation with added behavioral expressions
  • Improved simulation reporting
  • Enhanced analysis capabilities for quicker convergence
